“TOGETHER WE CAN…”

How would your child finish this sentence?  The 2010 Reflections Program wants to know by asking children to express their ideas artistically.  This is what The PTA Reflections Program is all about:  challenging students to create art inspired by a specific theme each year using six arts areas—dance choreography, film production, literature, musical composition, photography, and visual arts.  This year’s theme is “Together We Can.”  Your child decides what it means to them and how they would show it.

Mt. Erie students in all grades are invited to submit original artwork by December 10th to be judged within grade divisions.  Winning entries advance to the council, district, region, and/or state PTA levels.  Top state award–winning entries advance to the national level of judging.  But all participants will be recognized and their artwork will be displayed.
