Congratulations to all the Mustangs that walked, bicycled, or rode a scooter or longboard to school during Walk & Wheel Wednesdays this fall. Walk & Wheel participants were counted every Wednesday Sept. 26 through Nov. 14th.
More than two-thirds of all Mt. Erie students participated in at least one Walk & Wheel Wednesday. (That’s 307 students or 67% of the student population!)
A third of the students participated in 1 to 5 of the 8 counted Walk & Wheel Wednesdays this fall. (That’s 151 students or 33% of the student population.) Only 16 students (4%) walked or wheeled to school 6 or 7 of the 8 counted Wednesdays.
Thirty one percent of all Mt. Erie students and 6 staff members walked, bicycled, or rode a scooter or longboard to school all 8 of the counted Walk & Wheel Wednesdays this fall. All students and staff that participated in all 8 Walk & Wheel Wednesdays will receive a T-shirt. The design concept for this t-shirt was created by an Anacortes Middle School student.
For those more curious about the data, check out the final results.
Great job Mustangs! Walk & Wheel to school with your friends and neighbors every Wednesday!
